You can order quickly and securely on our online shopping cart system. There is also a checkout option to send in a check by mail if you do not want to input credit card details. Please note your order will not ship until the check has been received and cleared.

We know UPS and postage costs have increased greatly in the last few years.
Often we can ship things less expensively. We are committed to saving you as much as we can on shipping costs and will pass on any savings to you. We manually reduce the shipping cost as we process your order, you will see the reduced shipping on your order receipt, but not online.
Please note your card is not charged until your order ships, so we can adjust the shipping amount to reflect these savings.
Your charged shipping cost will be actual postage and insurance plus a $2.00 packing and handling fee.

If you choose this shipping option, your order will go out UPS or USPS Priority mail, whichever is less expensive. In the 48 contiguous states, UPS has day definite delivery, and Priority mail usually takes 2-3 days in transit from the date of shipping. This is NOT a guarantee, and during holiday seasons Priority mail occasionally may take up to 2 weeks to arrive.

NOTE: for customers who ask for packages to be left on the porch or outside the door:
We understand a customer may want this written on their package so they do not have to go to the post office or sign a pink USPS card. HOWEVER, if you request a package to be left outside, and package is scanned as delivered, and is missing, your request to have the package left outside voids the USPS insurance (this is their policy, not ours). We will not refund missing orders that were requested to be left outside. Please plan carefully.

NOTE: for customers who request one particular service only:
If you want only UPS, or only Priority, please be aware it may be more expensive than the amount in the shopping cart. Put a note in the instructions box what you want, and that the extra cost is authorized by you.

If you choose this shipping option, your order will may go out First class mail or Parcel Post. First class mail and Parcel Post can take much longer to arrive, up to 2-3 weeks.

We come in each morning, download all orders that have come in, and begin packing and shipping orders for the day. We are closed Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. This means that, except for Wednesday, we try to ship your order the business day after you place it. However, this is not a guarantee. During busy times of the year, or if we are short staffed due to a vacation, it may take 2-3 business days for it to go out.
IF YOU NEED IT BY A CERTAIN DATE, PLEASE LET US KNOW IN THE INSTRUCTIONS BOX DURING CHECKOUT. Please expect an email sent at the time of shipping with tracking information in it.

Please order ahead responsibly allowing enough time for your order to reach you, especially during the holidays. Once the shipment has left our premises, we cannot expedite the shipment in any way, and take no responsibility for delays in speed of transit. If you return a package because it was delayed in transit, we are happy to refund for the items less a 15% restocking fee.

For some items, shipping may cost more than in the chart above. In all cases, this will be clearly stated, both in the item description page, and next to the item name itself in the shopping cart.
These items include some sale items, scrap bags, and wool batting.
Orders with bulk discount items in them are shipped at postage cost plus $2.00 handling if this exceeds our normal shipping chart.

The cost will be more. If you want to approve the cost before shipping, please say so in the instruction box at checkout. However, if we cannot reach you for your approval, your order will be delayed. Please note we are on EST time, and by noon EST our shipping is picked up for that day.

If you want it sent without delay, such as overnight, you MUST authorize the additional cost in writing in the instructions box on the order. We will not charge you more for expedited shipping unless we have your written authorization.

Expedited shipments, such as overnight and second day air, are charged by box size as well as by weight, so overnighting a pound of wool batt costs much more than a pound of flat fabric. We can't know the cost until the order is packed, weighed and measured.

All orders are shipped within 2-3 business days unless you are otherwise notified. Please refer to the map below for UPS time in transit.
FASTER SHIPPING: We will ship the less expensive of USPS Priority or UPS ground. Time in transit is usually 5 days or less.
LESS EXPENSIVE: Parcel post and First Class Mail are also an option to save costs. Transit time will be longer, Parcel Post can take 2-3 weeks.

ORDERS LOST OR DAMAGED IN SHIPPING:
Once in a great while, packages may be lost or damaged in shipping. Please note we are not in control of and cannot be responsible for the postal system or UPS.
We will initiate an insurance claim for you. This takes time. A tracer is put out to see if the package can be located. If your order was sent USPS and was damaged, you will be asked to take the package to the Post Office for inspection. This is a pain, but is how the insurance system works. It can take up to a month for a package to be found or an insurance claim to be paid. While we insure and can refund the cost of your order items, we cannot refund the postage cost to you unless we have it refunded by the USPS to us, in which case we will be happy to pass it on to you.

If you entered the wrong address on your order and it has to be re-shipped or re-directed by UPS, you will be charged the nominal shipping or address correction cost.
