for braiding with the disk, plate or marudai
Lustrous, inexpensive thick rayon floss in color variations.
The picture does not do this floss justice: it's thick, soft, and lustrous with hand dipped colors that blend into each other.
About the same size as a #5 perle cotton, you can
cut and mount right onto your Hamanaka or other disk or plate
and braid away.
Each skein is 10.5 yards, the dye repeat is about a yard, a good length for braiding a necklace.
In other words, one skein will give you around 10 one yard strands, so an eight strand braid will use one skein.
For 16 strand braids, or if using doubled strands, you'll need two skeins.
